Restored Classics

The Biplane in the RAAF Hangar

In June 2010, I celebrated the Queen’s Birthday by taking a leisurely drive to Point Cook where I found my way to the RAAF museum which happens to be on a live and current Australian Military Base. In spite of the restrictions on photography, it turns out that you can take photographs in the museum precinct. I wandered into a hangar which housed an array of restored classics from World Wars I and II which make a pretty interesting exhibit.
