How to Capture Eddy Currents

Eddy currents are the swirls that are created as a result of water rushing in from opposing directions. Very often, they appear in long exposure images – quite often by chance. But if you know where to look, they can very often be predicted, and fairly easily captured. This tutorial is from one of my trips down to Point Lonsdale, along the rocky Victorian coast. The contour of the coast and the myriad of rock pools make for excellent locations to spot eddy currents forming. This video aims to offer you a view as to where to look for eddy currents, how to predict their presence and occurrence, and how capture them.
